My client is an international company that is leading the way in Australia in delivering bespoke mobile and modular, clinical infrastructures (portable healthcare facilities) to the public and private hospitals across Australia. They specialize in Operating Theatres, Wards, Endoscopy Suites, Decontamination and diagnostic units.
We are seeking a Technical Coordinator with a can-do attitude looking for their next career opportunity. Step into the fast paced and unique world of transportable and flexible clinical structures. In this diverse role, you will oversee various aspects relating to the successful delivery of current and future projects to clients across Australia. You will be responsible for undertaking all activities relevant to the project delivery such as installation and commissioning of the units, spare parts procurement & control, overseeing contractor management in the warehouse & when units are on site and support with logistics and maintenance, including being hands on with the tools from time to time. You will also be generating reports, purchase/work orders and invoicing.
You will be based out of the newly refurbished Warehouse & Operations office at Northgate most of the time, however you will be required to travel interstate and potentially overseas depending on the projects being worked on. You will have a $14k car allowance and all intestate or overseas travelled is paid for by the company.

The key objectives of this role are:
- Assist in collecting, delivering and setting up units
- Induct contractors at customer sites once the units are installed
- Overseeing contractor management in the warehouse and when units are on site
- Prepare purchase and work orders and reconcile invoices
- Assist with the preparation of required documentation
- Assist in overseeing build and refurbishment programme of new and returned units
- Assist with Planned Preventative Maintenance coordination
- Ensure company obligations against quality and safety standards are met
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders
- Attenhed customer sites to carry out small repairs to the units where necessary
- Knowledge of power tools and experience with hand tools essential
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar technical coordination role
- Experience with health & safety investigation management
- Knowledge of relevant workplace health and safety regulations
- Proven experience in managing inventory, commissioning and after sales support
- IT literate with ability to effectively work using Microsoft 365
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Take ownership and accountability in the role
- Hands-on with the ability to work autonomously
- High level of customer service
- Working at height certificate license
- Class C (or higher) current driver's license
- Hold or be willing to obtain a valid passport
- Experience in healthcare and facility management related employment is highly desirable
- Experience in similar environments is preferred but not essential
- Continuous improvement experience
- Experience with ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001
- Experience with CAD software
