Role Responsibilities:
- Implementing Montessori curriculum and pedagogy tailored to the developmental needs of children.
- Creating a safe, supportive, and enriching learning environment that encourages independence and exploration.
- Observing and assessing children’s progress and development, and maintaining accurate records.
- Collaborating with colleagues and parents to support the holistic growth of each child.
- Participating in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on best practices in early childhood education.
About You:
- Cert III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education/Teaching (or ACECQA equivalent)
- Montessori training or certification preferred and highly desirable.
- Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
- Available to work Monday to Friday (Full-time)
- Passionate about implementing Montessori early learning approach
- Ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively in a team environment
- Strong understanding of the importance of family communications

- The Pocket Early Education and Care centre is nestled within the leafy pocket of St Lucia. We provide environments rich in exploration and comfort for each child by offering a place of support, curiosity, diversity and fun. Opened in July 2020, The Pocket centre caters for 148 children from 6 weeks to school age, is a part of the St Clare Group.
