AddressWe are a small, well established, office priding ourselves on old school customer service. This has resulted in ongoing referrals from past borrowers, including multi-generations from the same family (we have parents referring their kids and even have kids referring their parents!)
We need an assistant to help continue the quality service we are known for. Communication is key and we also have an ongoing focus on with the borrowers after settlement of the loan.
Job tasks and responsibilities
This role requires an experienced and outgoing professional with minimum qualifications of cert IV in mortgage broking.
Responsibilities include:
- Manage the loan process from submission through to settlement
- Administer finance applications to ensure they are approved and settle, this includes
- Handle enquiries from clients.
- Prepare thorough file notes for loans.
- Prepare loan servicing calculators.
- Request and confirm accuracy of all required supporting documents.
- Submit application to the lender.
- Manage timeline of application at all stages from application to settlement
- Constant communication with all relevant parties
- General Office duties as required including
- Answering phone
- General maintenance of existing loans
- Maintain confidentiality and act with discretion.
Skills and experience
Completion of Cert IV in mortgage broking or similar and current AML and CTF are required for this position. We are happy to interview prior to completion of Cert IV but Cert IV needs to be completed prior to starting.
