In the role, you will:
- Attend to customer enquiries and manage mortgage loan applications
- Educate the customer through each stage of the lending process
- Convert leads by discussing lending needs with customers
- Submit loan applications for credit approval
- Liaise with the Head Office Credit Analyst
- Promote the Banks product range and service offering
- Identify new business opportunities by building strong relationships with customers
- Manage customer profiles and update the database
- Notify and update customers on the status of loan applications
- Generate reports for Senior Managers and Principles
- Work with the Principles to plan and coordinate social and networking events
To be successful in the role, you will have:
- Experience working at a bank or financial services provider (call centre or customer-facing)
- Proven customer service and sales experience with an ability to explain the features and benefits of a product or service
- Expectational communication and presentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work autonomously
- Strong time management and prioritising skills
- Ability to build rapport with customers and key stakeholders
