Mosman Full Time Nanny

We are seeking a kind/loving energetic nanny to assist a busy family in Mosman. The family has 3 children (8yr old boy, 6yr old girl and 3yr old boy).

The days and normal hours are:- 4 days – 37 hours per week

Monday - Wednesday 7am - 6pm

Thursday 2.30pm - 6.00pm

The Nanny will be paid for periods when the family take holidays and do not require the nanny (generally 4-6 weeks per year).

An ideal nanny will be loving, kind/nurturing and patient. A nanny who is active with an energetic, bubbly personality can keep up with the children and play age appropriate activities.

The family do require someone who can be firm and hold their ground and can also help maintain a tight and disciplined household. They would like the nanny to join them long term and be able to form a lovely bond with the children.

The older 2 children are at school during the day and the youngest attends preschool on a Thursday so is at home during the day Mon -Wed.

The carer’s responsibilities for this role will be as follows –

• Care of the children
• Keeping the children in established routines
• Assisting with drop off /pick ups from school of the two eldest
• Organising and taking children to activities (organised sporting activities and generally getting out and about to the park etc)
• Meal prep/Cooking the children's meals
• Homework help
• Laundry - Related to the children only
• Light household duties - Related to the children only. Tidying up after the children's meals, playroom and children’s bedrooms.
• Run errands - child related

The family’s expectations from their nanny are -

• 3-5 years experience as a nanny or working in child care
• Child care qualification (preferred)
• Current First Aid
• Current working with children’s check number
• Speak fluent English and display strong communication skills
• To be fit, healthy and active and able to swim
• Able to meal prep and cook nutritious meals
• Non smoker
• Full drivers licence and clean driving record - Car is provided.
