The Job
The Public Intoxication Response (PIR) Manager Gippsland is a highly experienced and culturally responsive professional whose main task is to oversee the Public Intoxication Outreach Response as well as the Safe House (Sober Up Centre).
With a PIR team spanning across the areas of Bairnsdale and La Trobe, the PIR Manager will provide high level oversight and support to PIR staff and Team Leaders to ensure that community receives a program promoting best practise with culturally sound responses.

Your Skills & Experience
- Minimum requirement Certificate IV in Alcohol & Other Drugs, Community Services or equivalent
- Demonstrable knowledge and interest in Aboriginal Communities and their wellbeing
- Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities
- Experience in group facilitation.
- Deep understanding and respect for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Victorian Driver's License
- National Police Certificate (no older than 3 months).
- Victorian Employment Working with Children Check.
- Minimum 2 Covid19 Vaccination
