Motion Graphics Designer

The purpose of this role is to support the design and animation of Motion Graphics in service of a client deliverable.Job Title: Motion Graphics DesignerJob Description:MKTG Sport and Entertainment is a global integrated agency helping clients harness the power of sport, entertainment, culture and community through meaningful marketing solutions and experiences.We have our own internal creative studio that is now expanding. We’re a close-knit team who love the creative process, with a big focus on sport and in-stadium digital assets, alongside some social and event based digital and print work.Together, we believe in creating ideas born for brands but designed for fans and we are looking for a unique skillset to join our team; a full time junior to mid weight Motion Graphics Designer.A successful candidate will be able to take creative direction and follow a broad range of brand guidelines, while working in a wide variety of digital screen types and layouts. Our studio takes care of projects that are short and long term, requiring a high level of autonomy to digest briefs and create high quality work efficiently. We love people who can come the table with creative ideas and really look to push content to the next level.The skills required:

• Exceptional skills across general motion design concepts with a primary focus on After Effects
• A working knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator
• Confidence and creativity throughout ideation processes
• Experience working with brands, and a knowledge of commercial design best practices
• Ability to read and interpret creative briefs to determine appropriate creative approaches
• Collaborative and responsive to creative feedback
• High attention to detail
• Time management and ability to juggle multiple projects across each week

Additional skills:

• Skills with 3D animation programs such as Cinema 4D or Blender
• Experience with character animation
• Video editing, VFX and green screen experience is also considered.

The role is overseen by our Studio Manager who has years of experience in this unique space. We work with sporting clubs, leagues, and brands across multiple sporting codes across Australia, primarily the AFL and Cricket Australia.
