Now an exciting opportunity for a motivated civil engineering drafter to join a growing company, delivering civil drawing to our construction team.
You are expected to complete the following duties and responsibilities.
- interpreting construction drawings in conjunction with site plans and discussion/instructions provided by the supervisor or client or result from site inspections.
- preparing accurate and highly detailed 2D and 3D drawings and plans using nominated software such as I Scaff, AutoCAD and others.
- preparing detailed and accurate inventory/pack list calculated on the prepared drawings.
- working according to the Australian construction standards and practices; and computer- based technologies relevant to your role.
- estimating quantities of materials needed for construction, participate in cost analysis by calculating material costs.
- collaborating with industry partners to deliver specialized designs to suit unique projects; and,
- undertaking ongoing training as required.
- Determine the numbers and kinds of fasteners needed to assemble the machine.
- Consult technical handbooks and tables while in drafting phase.
- Explain concepts to construction workers.
- Prepare engineering drawings that detail plans and specifications.
- Prepare drawings and topographical relief maps to be used in highways, bridges, pipelines, flood-control projects, and water and sewage systems.
- Prepare drawings showing the detail and method of assembly of machinery and mechanical devices.
Successful applicant need to meet the below requirements:
- Relevant qualification
- More than 5 year experience
- Speak both English and Chinese language
- Willing to work for at least next years
