About The Client
Our leading global mining and resource client is Australia's largest producer and supplier of seaborne metallurgical coal. With over 100 years of operation within Australia, they mine metallurgical coal across seven sites within their Queensland Operations in the Bowen Basin with local, DIDO and FIFO opportunities available.
What You will Be Doing
You will be working as an MPU Operator within the Drill and Blast Department on a Coal Mine within the Moranbah Region. In this role you will be operating a Mobile Pressing Unit working along side blast crew team members. You will be working a 7/7 roster Day Shift only. This position is available to residential to Moranbah, BIBO (Mackay) or DIDO candidates.
This roles requires a minimum 12 months experience within a similar role on a coal mine. This position is not suitable for entry level or new to industry candidates.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience working as an MPU Operator within a Blast Crew on a coal mine.
- Tickets required for this role: SSAN Clearence, HR Licence, Standard 11
- Must have a current Coal Board Medical or willing to obtain
- Current RII or site authorised skills list (Signed by SSE)
