The Role

If you are creative, passionate about content creation, and love the idea of shaping Multimedia Content for diverse platforms, we encourage you to apply. Your unique skills and perspective could be the perfect fit for this dynamic role. 

Some of the things you’ll work on include:

  • Delivery of communications activities e.g. digital production including but not limited to photography, video production, editing, assisting the running of information sessions.
  • Developing content to support planned communication of crucial business updates, key company initiatives and corporate strategy
  • Maintaining the accurate and consistent application of the TasWater brand, tone of voice and style across all communication materials.
  • Developing visually captivating and informative multimedia presentations for keynote speeches, ensuring content is engaging, persuasive, and aligned with the organisation's messaging.

The Multimedia Content Creator reports to the Senior Internal Communications Lead and sits in our Customer and Community Team who lead the Communications and community engagement for our workforce. 

What we’re looking for

We think there are transferable skills that can lead to success in this role so even if you don’t think you meet all the criteria, we still want you to apply. The below experience will be helpful:

  • Strong organisation and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Capability to build effective stakeholder relationships across the organisation
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to build and maintain trusting, productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders and service providers
  • Background in content creation, specifically in filming and editing video content.
  • Experience using Adobe creative cloud.

The Details

This role can be based in either Hobart, Launceston, or Devonport and attracts a salary of $$93,000 - $103,000 (inclusive of superannuation). Our recruitment process involves a phone screen interview, followed by a face to face or video interview, reference checks, and offer. Unsuccessful candidates will also be contacted.
