Our Client, a large Federal Government Department located in Woden is seeking Multiple Test Analysts to join their team for a long term contract opportunity.
Test Analyst:
The Test Analyst tests the function and interfaces of the systems which make up the Department's core business processing systems, sourcing and analysing design documents, and assists in the preparation, peer-review and execution of test scripts. Test Analyst works in an agile/iterative environment and utilises test management tools to prepare and execute test scripts, document results, analyse data, prepare test artefacts and escalate issues, defects and incidents in line with assigned work scope from the Scrum Master or Team Lead. They may be expected to lead sections of work within a release and be required to undertake specialist or technical research and analysis activities.
Criteria:
Demonstrated experience (3+ years) in manual testing, including:
- Analysing documented specifications, user stories and requirements to support the creation of test cases
- Write, review, and execute test cases.
- Demonstrated ability to work under limited direction with competing priorities and be accountable for completion of work; and Demonstrated ability to adapt and work in a constantly changing environment.
- Report and track the resolution of defects/issues as they are found in testing.
- Work with the ability to be proactive, flexible, and agile, whilst managing changing goals and scope in a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and skilled at prioritisation and multitasking.
- Ideally exposure to or previous experience in .Net, Seibel, Sales force applications
- Accessibility testing experience is desirable
Senior Test Analyst:
The Senior Test Analyst leads a team to test the function and interfaces of the systems which make up the Department's core business processing systems. They prepare, estimate, manage and review testing documentation, ensuring relevant strategies and plans follow best practice and
management of risks are considered. They provide training on technical testing processes and work closely with other Test Analysts to achieve testing outcomes. The Senior Test Analyst works in an agile/iterative environment and undertakes specialist or technical research and analysis activities. They identify opportunities for automation within software processes, using scripts that test functionality through analysis, test preparation, test execution, defect management, and technical troubleshooting activities. They communicate across a range of media types, using various styles to suit different audiences and understand and embrace the agency's various ways of working and are agile in their approach to collaboration and delivery of services.
Criteria:
- Demonstrated experience (5+ years) as Senior Test Analyst, including:
- Desktop/Application (including D365), interagency, system integration and mobile device testing.
- Analysing documented specifications, user stories and requirements to support the creation of test cases
- Write, review, and execute test cases;
- Demonstrated ability to work under limited direction with competing priorities and be accountable for completion of work
- Demonstrated ability to adapt and work in a constantly changing environment.
- Report and track the resolution of defects/issues as they are found in testing.
- Work with the ability to be proactive, flexible, and agile, whilst managing changing goals and scope in a multidisciplinary team.
