Multiskilled Carers to partner with residents, enabling them to fulfil their daily living, social and emotional needs at our Juniper Chrystal Halliday aged care home, located in Karrinyup.In this role you will provide person centered care and communicate with residents in a manner that enhances their quality of life, ensuring that they feel welcome and respected at all times. It will be important that you embrace Juniper's core values and follow our policies and procedures.The ideal candidate would be available for a minimum 3x shifts per week Monday to Friday.On offer are:Morning shifts : 7:00am - 13:00pm or 7:00am - 15:00pmAfternoon shifts: 16:00pm - 20:00pmNight shifts: 22:30pm - 7:15amKey Responsibilities of this role:
- Provide assistance to residents with their hygiene needs including bathing, dental hygiene, dressing, grooming and personal care.
- Support the maintenance or restoration of residents' independence by providing assistance to engage in activities of interest and use mobility aids where required.
- Complete accurate and timely documentation and report information to relevant Nursing, Allied Health and Management as required.
- Maintain effective communication in the workplace, being respectful, open to change and kind in your approach.
- Assist residents with the administration of correct medication in accordance with Juniper policies
The Skills, Knowledge and Experience required:
- Certificate III in Individual Support or Aged Care (Essential)
- 6 months experience working in an aged care setting
- Understanding of AN-ACC documentation (Desirable)
- Experience working within a person centered, enabling environment
