We have a great opportunity available for a Multiskilled Domestic Cleaner at our Juniper Hayloft aged care facility in Martin, WA.The primary purpose of this role is to ensure that all areas of the site are kept hygienic and presentable, contributing to a comfortable, welcoming environment for residents, staff and visitors.It is important for well being that rooms, bathrooms and communal areas are clean and well maintained. You will be part of a team that ensures this happens.This will be a perfect opportunity for you if you have a passion for your work and also enjoy being with older people and making a positive difference to the lives of others.The available shifts are week 1 and week 2:Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday working 7:30am till 14:00pmThe ideally candidate will be available for a minimum of 3x shifts per week.Please note additional opportunities available to cover maternity leave *Key Responsibilities of this role:

• Provide cleaning services including vacuuming, emptying rubbish bins, dusting, wiping surfaces, maintaining the cleanliness of residents’ rooms, windows, toilets, bathrooms and communal areas
• Demonstrate a high level of respect for residents’ property and privacy
• Safe use of equipment and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Adhere to Juniper's policies and procedures relating to Occupational Safety and Health

The Skills, Knowledge and Experience required:

• Knowledge of relevant chemicals and safe handling practices and procedures
• An understanding of infection control procedures
• Experience in aged care cleaning and domestic cleaning
• 6 months plus experience within the aged care or acute sector
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
