The role requires flexibility and occasional on-call duties, but it fosters collaboration and teamwork as you travel to different sites and contribute to this vital program.The OpportunityThe MST-CAN Clinical Supervisor is a program linchpin, providing comprehensive support to 3 therapists and a caseworker. This includes supervision, training, and ensuring service quality through collaboration with stakeholders and adherence to program models. They actively participate in client sessions and celebrate team successes.Reporting to the Practice Manager MST-CAN & IFP, the MST-CAN Clinical Supervisor will be responsible for;
- Fostering a "risk-aware" culture, ensuring a safe environment for clients and staff, and compliance with safeguarding and reporting protocols.
- Overseeing MST-CAN program adherence, manage contract compliance with partner organisations, and address any program issues promptly.
- Cultivating a positive and supportive team environment, integrating the team with broader CatholicCare services for collaboration.
- Actively participating in professional development opportunities, including supervision and self-directed learning, aligned with the organisation's capability framework.
- Demonstrating commitment to respectful and inclusive practice with diverse clients, communities, and staff.
- Master's degree or PhD in Clinical Psychology, Counselling Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
- Possess significant experience and knowledge in applying family systems theory to therapeutic interventions.
- Demonstrate a proven track record of effectively supervising and training multidisciplinary teams, fostering positive and engaged work environments.
- Exhibit strong networking and advocacy capabilities with internal and external stakeholders.
- Possess expertise in social ecological, behavioural, and cognitive-behavioural therapies, with a focus on trauma treatment and anger management.
