As stated, this position's primary responsibility is to ensure the safe and efficient functioning of all plants, equipment, and materials, as well as to do any related labour tasks necessary to carry out the civil construction and maintenance projects for the Council.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a casual Municipal Labourer, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks to support the maintenance and improvement of our municipality.
Key role requirements include;
- Carrying out road maintenance / construction duties as required
- Maintenance of parks and gardens, recreation reserves, town streetscape's and roadsides
- Public convenience maintenance i.e toilets, Barbeques
- Repairs to footpath and kerb and channel, including removal and replacement of small lots.
ABOUT YOU
As a casual Municipal Labourer, you will possess the following attributes;
- Physical fitness: This role will have you carrying out a variety of manual labour tasks including lifting, bending and kneeling
- Safety Conscious: You will prioritise safety in the workplace, adhering to the safety protocols and procedures at all times
- Team Player: You will thrive in a team environment, contributing positively to group efforts and collaborating with colleagues.
