About the Role
As Music Programming Assistant, this role will see you provide programming, playlisting, production and administrative support for music output across triple j, Double J and triple j Unearthed.
You'll work as a member of the triple j Group Music Programming team, supporting our Music Directors and program teams with administration and production assistance, as well as maintaining the physical and digital catalogue of triple j’s music libraries.
About You
You have a passion for music, old and new, plus you’re able to identify relevant content from a wide variety of genres & cultures. You must love Australian music.
You will be able to demonstrate:
- Experience in providing Music Programming support in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of the Australian music scenes, and a demonstrated ability to keep up to date with the latest trends and developments in music.
- Experience in operating and using either digital broadcast & production systems, such as Netia, Pro Tools, GSelector, Selector and/or other music scheduling programs.
- Sound administrative and organisational skills including the ability to prioritise and take the initiative.
