About the Opportunity
Carey is currently seeking a Casual Trombone teacher!
Reporting to the Head of Performing Arts, the role of Instrumental Music Instructors of a specific instrument/vocal department at Carey is wide and varied. They are specialists in their field and work closely with Performing Arts colleagues to support the Music program across the whole School.

To be successful in this position, you will have:
- Outstanding musicianship
- A passion for engaging young people in music education
- Well organised, accurate, creative and innovative with the ability to prioritise tasks
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Demonstrated problem solving skills and the ability to use initiative
- Interpersonal skills and the ability to create a rapport with staff, parents and students
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Teaching qualifications are highly desirable
- Valid Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) Registration
