Job description

One of Australia’s leading OEMs is currently looking to build upon there already established Sales team and look to employee yet another Sales superstar. In this role you will be developed and trained by the National Sales Manager. He has been with the business for many years and he would like to have a new underdog that not only has the passion but also the wants to grow into the next National BDM. You will be given all the tools and advanced training to get you up to speed. 

The support team is brilliant, they have many staff from other mobile machai9nery companies that wanted to also step and look to specialise within a unique market. Everyone is there to help and make sure you are supported from day 1.  You will be tasked and look to engage with local civil construction and pilling rig contractors within NSW and then look to grow into Queensland and Victoria, Perth and at later stage NZ. This role is certainly very rare and it will come to your determination and willingness to learn and build upon your already established career. 

  • Responsibility for increasing sales of the defined drill rig Range
  • Improvement of sales based on a comparison to plan and compared to previous year as a target.
  • Improvement of GP
  • Target Civil Construction and Major pilling contractors 
  • Improve market share
  • Timely assessments and reports on market trends – customers, industry, economic
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts
  • Work closely with designated aftermarket group to ensure a seamless customer output and high service levels as measured by customers.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills, as well as an inherent ability to build and maintain vital internal and external relationships with key customers.
  • Ensure the continued growth and profitability of machine sales in the region
  • Work with marketing, business development and product development groups to implement business development initiatives.  Provide timely assessments and reports on market trends.
  • Provide guidance and support to implement and maintain profitable MARC contracts in the region.
  • Responsible for development and management of key accounts.

You must be willing to cover travel internationally plus cover all major civil & mine sites throughout Australia & New Zealand. We would like this individual to be based in Sydney North West. 

Candidate Requirements – 

  • 5 + years in Selling high valued capital equipment 
  • Trade qualification either as Technician or Engineer 
  • Willingness to travel throughout Australia and NZ
  • Strong communication and sales closing skills
  • Relationships manager 
  • Highly motivated to learn and develop your technical engineering skills
  • You must Sydney based for this role

Salary package – 

  • $140,0000 Base Salary 
  • Uncapped Coms - $50,000 to $60,000
  • Company 4WD
  • Super 11%
