Workforce Health Assessors (WHA) is a leading provider of workplace health assessments delivering pre-employment medicals, health monitoring and related testing services throughout Australia and New Zealand. 

About the role

We are excited to offer a compelling opportunity for an experienced and results-oriented National Business Development Manager, responsible for driving National Business growth across the expanding WHA Group. The successful candidate will be at the forefront of leading the groups strategic sales initiatives identifying and driving new business opportunities. The successful applicant will have demonstrated experience as a commercially astute Business Development leader possessing the ability to influence and motivate the sales team, maximise opportunities, present effective solutions, and deliver exceptional growth results.

This position is a remote/work-from-home role.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

  • Develop and implement both short-term and long-term sales plans, ensuring successful execution across domestic markets.
  • Lead and manage the sales team by fostering a collaborative approach to drive rapid growth across the WHA Group.
  • Propel the sales team to actively engage in Business Development by sourcing and pursuing new sales opportunities proactively.
  • Have a willingness to execute a comprehensive personal sales plan, ideally in their place of residence.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Team to shape WHA’s sales policies, objectives, and initiatives.
  • Assess the effectiveness of current sales initiatives, programs, and resources, and contribute to improvements.
  • Work in collaboration with the company's marketing resources to develop a tactical and comprehensive marketing strategy to enhance brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue growth.

Experience, skills & qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of proven experience in a sales management role, with a track record of success in developing and implementing growth strategies that drive business results. 
  • Demonstrated experience in the sales of professional services in a B2B environment.   
  • Proven experience in achieving personal growth targets. 
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinker with analytical skills and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Ability to analyse sales performance metrics to inform data driven decisions. 
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
