About the role
Operating within our Growth team, the National Community Engagement & Partnerships Manager in many ways is similar to a commercial Sales Management role, the purpose of the role is to lead the Community Engagement Team to achieve their team and individual goals. This role is open to Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and can work remotely.
What you’ll do
Reporting to the Chief Growth Officer, you’ll:
• Develop and implement Community Engagement strategies that align with client acquisition objectives.
• Build relationships with key stakeholders including local businesses, government agencies, non-profit organizations, and community groups.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to develop programs that address specific needs within the community.
• Plan and execute events that promote positive engagement between our organization and the community.
• Identify potential partnership opportunities that can enhance customer service offerings.
• Manage existing partnerships by regularly evaluating their effectiveness through data analysis.
• Act as a liaison between our organization's leadership team and external partners.
• Stay up to date on industry trends related to call centre operations/customer service/Community Engagement.
About you
You’ll be focused on identifying and defining market growth opportunities including acquisitions, diversification strategies and new service offerings, with a focus on client and provider acquisition, referral, retention, and upselling.
You will be excited to help establish a new team to deliver great service and innovative solutions that delight our key providers and ensure a strong ongoing relationship. You will also enjoy connecting and mobilising specialists across the business to support your delivery of a ‘seamless solution’ to key providers, that further differentiates NDSP in the market.
To be our next National Community Engagement & Partnerships Manager, you’ll have:
• Prior professional work experience and/or advanced knowledge of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and NDIS plan management. (Preferred but not mandatory)
• A natural leader with strong communication skills who can take ownership of the client journey and inspire their team to do so as well.
• Proven track record of leading, growing and developing high-performing teams.
• Experience recruiting, onboarding and developing new teams.
• Background of achieving against personal and organisational KPI’s.
• Strong communication and leadership skills with an empathetic, compassionate and person-centred approach to the internal team and external customer interactions.
• Advanced literacy and numeracy skills with IT expertise; Office 365, CRM and databases.
• Experience in data analysis, system design and continual process improvement.
• A current DHS Working with Children's Check (WWCC) and NDIS Worker Clearance (NDISWC).
