National Discipline Lead - Occupational Therapist 
Permanent Full Time

Intro to the role: 
Are you passionate about Occupational Therapy and ready to take your career to the next level? Concentric Health Services is looking for a dedicated and dynamic leader to oversee clinical governance and performance in Occupational Therapy across our organisation.
 
You will oversee the delivery, enhancement, and quality of Occupational Therapy services. Lead to ensure exceptional care and continuous improvement. Guide and support your team through effective supervision and mentorship. Foster their growth and development to achieve their full potential. 

Monitor client attraction and retention, and develop and implement strategies such as through creating and maintaining existing referral pathways, to generate clinical case load to the Occupational Therapy team. Evaluate service delivered and review, update and improve services based on customer feedback, and available evidence.

In this role, you will focus on: 

  • Clinical Leadership: Providing clinical guidance and support to the Occupational Therapy team.
  • Mentoring and Supervision: Supervising Clinical Mentors to develop their skills. 
  • Service Development: Leading the design and implementation of evidence-based Occupational Therapy programs.
  • Quality Improvement: Monitoring and improving service quality and outcomes on a national level
  • Training and Education: Developing training programs for new graduates and ongoing staff education
  • Compliance: Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Client Engagement: Promoting client attraction and retention through strong referral pathways.

Skills and Requirements: 
  • Must demonstrate expertise in Occupational Therapy, at least 10 years of clinical experience required
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in leadership or management
  • Extensive knowledge of NDIS and disability services required
  • Ability to manage and engage remote teams
  • Aged care experience preferred but not required
  • Current AHPRA Registration
