  • $54.19 p.h. +11% Super + Salary Packaging up to $15,899 + 17.5% Annual Leave loading

About the opportunity

The Greater Geelong and Borough of Queenscliffe (GGQ) Local Mental Health and Wellbeing Service is delivered by a consortium of equal partners: Barwon Health, Wathaurong Aboriginal Cooperative Ltd, Wellways Australia and Erhma365. It is a safe space for all community members and is a service underpinned by positivity, hope and inclusion.

As our new Peer & Community Services Coordinator, you will be responsible for direct oversight, coordination and support to the Wellways service presence as part of the wider GGQ Local, including quality improvement/service delivery performance, service development, reporting and evaluation, financial performance, human resources management, facility management and effective allocation of resources within budget.

Your strong stakeholder engagement skills will be an asset as this role will see you establishing and maintaining strong partnerships within the community.

This role will form part of a leadership team across Western Victoria (including the Grampians, Barwon and Great South Coast catchments) ensuring Wellways are providing quality mental health and disability services to individuals, families and the community which value lived experience.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary Qualifications in a social science or related discipline
  • Appropriate IT skills
  • Right to Work within Australia
  • Current valid Driver's License and ability to undertake travel
  • NDIS Orientation Module
  • Satisfactory National Police Records Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check
