What you'll do
- You'll provide strategic oversight and support to the Facilities & Maintenance (F&M) engineering services team, ensuring the efficient asset management of Distribution Centres F&M operations, risk, and compliance.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Building Engineering Services, FM Services, Lessor Capex Plans, Group Assets, Group Procurement, DC Design, and Safety, to drive operational excellence and achieve strategic objectives.
- Ensure that all site facilities and assets are managed in strict accordance with relevant Australian Standards and Codes of Practice, upholding the highest standards of safety and compliance.
- Leverage your leadership and communication skills to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement asset management plans while Identifying opportunities to improve asset performance and compliance.
- Monitor and analyse asset performance data, support troubleshooting and performance optimisation.
- Support implementation and continuous improvement of Asset Performance Monitoring systems.
- Contribute to project management and strategic planning initiatives, providing valuable insights and expertise to drive successful outcomes.
What you'll bring
- 10+ years of experience in the facilities and/or property industry, with a focus on industrial or commercial settings.
- Substantial experience in maintenance planning, scheduling, inventory and Budgeting
- Demonstrated ability to deliver results in a complex, matrix environment, collaborating effectively across functions.
- Proven leadership skills in optimising team performance and development, with a focus on technical expertise.
- Proven track record of managing contracts and contractors.
- Previous experience of ISO 55001 Asset Management preferable
- Advanced knowledge of WHS legislation and safety in a supply chain environment.
- Certificate IV in Trade or Engineering, or Bachelor's Degree (preferably in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering), or equivalent qualification /experience
