We are currently looking to engage a Global Engineering Manager to provide expert planning, managing and implementation of engineering projects related to manufacturing, production and engineering systems.
The role:
- Lead, manage and support the Engineering team including but not limited to research & development.
- Delivering engine technology, specifically with remapping, repowering and emission controls in alignment with company and customer requirements.
- Directing, reviewing, and approving any changes to project design.
- Consult or negotiate with clients to prepare project specifications.
- Strategise, design, and manage projects at every stage, ensuring that the projects are completed efficiently, correctly, and delivered on schedule.
- Identify environmental threats or opportunities associated with the development and launch of new technologies.
- Liaise closely with the Executive and Operations team to develop company-wide systems, processes, protocols and procedures for the engineering group.
About you:
- Trade Qualification in Heavy Diesel Fitting or Tertiary Qualification in Engineering
- Previous and relevant exposure to engines, components, rebuilds, emission control, repowering and remapping.
- Background in Project Management or Senior Leadership position.
- High level understanding or knowledge of CAD and Designing concepts.
- Ability to lead teams, projects and deliver within restrictive and accurate time frames.
- Knowledge in systematic engineering design process to meet functional requirement.
- Be customer focused and maintain high level of professionalism.
