Altus Traffic are currently seeking Expressions of Interest for a full time Events guru based at our Laverton North depot.
Reporting to the head of Events, you will play an integral role in developing, coordinating and supporting Traffic Control for high profile events in and around Australia such as Marathons, Fun Runs, Charity events, Triathlons, Sporting and Film Production!
Working with a team that’s focused on success and safety, this role has a strong focus on reliable service delivery and effective traffic management planning for our clients.
Duties, Skills & Experience
As a key liaison with authorities, you will possess strong communication skills along with the ability to demonstrate the following:
- Traffic Management knowledge/ previous experience
- Event management experience (desirable)
- Strong computer literacy skills including the ability to engage with and learn new systems.
- Robust problem solving and analytical skills.
- Experience in managing the expectations of various clients and stakeholders.
- Understanding of safety management systems, practices and procedures
- Experience with project management, multi tasking, hazard identification and risk assessment processes.
- Ability to keep a wide variety of tasks on stream and deliver against multiple timeframes.
- Manual drivers license and;
- Current traffic management qualifications
Flexible working hours are essential as most events are held on weekends.
