Form of workWe are seeking a National Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Advisor to join our West Perth Office on a permanent full time basis. Full-time 38 hr week - Monday to Friday Perth Metro based Attractive Salary Package with Company Benefits Frequent Domestic Travel Required The primary purpose of the role is to provide HSE governance and assurance activities to Qube Bulk sites across Western Australia in line with the annual divisional corporate HSE strategy.
The ideal candidate will be capable in project based improvement work, auditing, working within a variety of safety disciplines such as workers’ compensation, health and hygiene and environment licencing and regulation. The candidate must be able to work autonomously to ensure the HSE strategy and its goals are achieved, whilst supporting the broader HSE and HR team within the division and the broader Qube business. Qualifications and Experience Formal Health and Safety qualifications 5 years of Health, Safety and Environment experience ISO 45001/14001 experience Auditing qualifications Understanding of ICAM methodology or similar Competent in HSE Statistics, reporting and ability to analyse HSE data for trends and improvements Familiar with multiple state legislation's on Workers’ compensation and injury management Training and Assessor qualifications Surface ventilation officer qualifications (or willingness to achieve) Interest in health and hygiene management and processes A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications Willingness to travel to remote sites across Australia Key Competencies/Skills: A strong commitment to safety and zero harm Advanced technical writing skills Ability to mentor site HSE advisors and provide technical advice on HSE issues Excellent…
