Australian Venue Co. is seeking a dynamic and passionate individual to take on the pivotal role of National Kids and Community Programs Facilitator.
The role purpose is to spearhead a diverse range of programs for a portfolio of AVC venues across Australia through the curation and management of a kids and community program. The program will include the coordination and management of a national kid's club loyalty program alongside creative and innovation programming to position AVC family friendly pubs as the destination of choice within the local market. The activities and programming will aim to engage and captivate kids in an interactive and fun way, making their overall experience at an AVC venue memorable, enticing parents to return regularly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program Planning and Coordination: Develop and coordinate a comprehensive array of tailored programs catering to audiences spanning from children to adults. This includes crafting sessions that resonate with the community's interests and needs.
- Stakeholder Management: Foster effective relationships with internal departments, external organisations, and content specialists to ensure the sourcing and curation of high-quality program content. Engage expert facilitators and local businesses to enrich program offerings.
- Budget and ROI Management: Efficiently manage resources to ensure optimal utilisation of budgetary allocations while striving for measurable return on investment (ROI).
- Program Development and Sales: Innovate and promote programs to engage the wider community and local schools, demonstrating an ability to effectively market and sell program offerings.
- Expansion and Team Leadership: Initially focused on Studley Park Boathouse, the role will evolve to encompass multiple venues nationally. Lead a team of experienced facilitators, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, creative ideas, and new innovations, proactively sharing with venue and marketing teams.
Qualifications and Attributes:
- Educational Background: Preferably, a background in teaching, learning & development, providing a solid foundation for designing and delivering engaging educational programs.
- Passion and Knowledge: Demonstrate a deep-seated passion for sustainability, indigenous culture, wellness, and community engagement, coupled with a strong understanding of these areas.
- Collaboration Skills: Ability to effectively liaise with external facilitators and content experts, leveraging their expertise to enhance program content.
- Program Development Expertise: Proven experience in developing compelling educational programs, including crafting course content and educational materials.
- Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, essential for effectively engaging with diverse audiences and stakeholders.
- Compliance: Hold current First Aid accreditation and a Working with Children Check, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Organizational Acumen: Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills, crucial for managing multiple programs and deadlines effectively.
- Relevant Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous, showcasing an understanding of the nuances of community program facilitation.
