A newly created opportunity exists for a seasoned and passionate National Learning and Development Leader, where you can make a significant impact on the growth and success of a leading organisation.
About the Role
This hands-on role will partner closely with the senior leadership teams to design, build and deliver a comprehensive and progressive Learning and Development strategy and framework that successfully meets the business’ objectives. This is an important leadership role that will have overall responsibility for driving continuous improvement in their Learning and Development approach.
In this role you will:
- Lead the design, build and implementation of Learning and Development pathways for all roles within the business including technical training, accreditation, regulatory and compliance training, management and leadership development.
- Identify, evaluate, and implement learning technologies, platforms, and tools to support blended learning approaches.
- Ensure the learning & development programs achieve compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Conduct regular needs assessments and gap analyses to identify learning priorities, collaborating with business managers and leaders, subject matter experts, and external partners, to tailor learning solutions to meet diverse learning needs and preferences.
- Establish KPIs and metrics to assess the effectiveness, impact, and ROI of learning initiatives, and provide regular reporting and insights to senior leadership to inform decision-making and investment in Learning and Development.
- Lead change management efforts related to Learning and Development initiatives, including communication, stakeholder engagement so to ensure successful adoption and integration of new learning practices and technologies.
To be meet the needs of this role, you will require proven experience as a leader of Learning and Development with a strong track record of successfully leading this function for an organisation. You will be technically proficient in the full cycle of Learning and Development, including defining learning needs through to curriculum development and implementation.
You have proven success in translating strategic goals into clear plans and actions. You demonstrate outstanding leadership and influencing, and an ability to engage at all levels of the organisation. You will need to be comfortable with both ‘leading and doing’ and being practical with your approach.
Interpersonally you are a passionate Learning and Development professional who drives for excellence, is open to feedback, and confident to make changes where necessary to ensure the success of key objectives. You will have an engaging style and able to build trusting partnerships with excellent leadership and project management skills.
You will be required to travel interstate. Experience working in a multi-site service-oriented business is important.
