Job Description
Key Information
Do you have a proven track record in running a National Storage operation and managing alternative export pathway programs ? Do you have the experience in our key functional indicators (but not limited to);
- Manage Implementation of ADM internal operations in Australia
- Ability to navigate the ADM’s Grain Origination System (GOS) and execution program efficiency
- Contract management
- Ensure all sales contracts are received and accurate for the forward export program
- Check all terms of contract to mitigate risk on execution
- Monitor inventory position against forward contracts and coordinate with the Domestic Logistics coordinators
- Understands the Port Loading Protocols for each if the Bulk handlers – including able to align ADM’s sales with acquired capacity and mitigate costs
- Manage Container Team and packing agreements
- Export documentation knowledge and experience
- Understand and be involved in local and overseas reporting requirements
- Is familiar with GTA/GAFTA trade rules, freight differentials and grain quality specifications
- Advance knowledge of Documentary Credits and banking channels (UCP600, ISP98, ISBP, Bills of Exchange)
- Assist the Site Managers (internal and third party) to ensure efficient Bulk vessel loading
- Assist Managing Director with cost models as required.
- Assist and manage as required any further vertical integration undertaken in Australian operations.
Your Profile
You have a proven track record in working in Agriculture and understanding the requirements of a National Operations in logistic programs , you are degree qualified in Agriculture, Commerce, Logistics / Supply Chain Management or similar field, additional capabilities but not limited to;
- Minimum of 7 years experience
- Awareness of issues and influences with respect to, grain markets and/or agriculture industries.
- Experience in risk reporting.
- Direct experience or exposure to a farming operation or grain storage and handling business
- Strong Business acumen. Analytical and strategic thinking
- Strong report writing and statistical analysis skills
- Excellent communication and problem solving skills
- Drive to build fulfilling business relationships to maintain Key account relationships.
