Reporting to the GM Engineering you will develop, implement, and advise on business and project Assurance and quality management strategies and plans, including the development of resources, systems and clear processes that contribute to and integrate within the companies’ long-term strategy for DT Infrastructure. You will also drive continuous improvement, governance, leadership and mentoring in the Quality Assurance field in collaboration with the business and project work streams.

Key responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

• Providing detailed review and gap analysis of DT Infrastructure policies, processes, plans and implementation tools.
• Working with DTI’s and Gamuda’s systems managers to develop and maintain our systems to enhance contract, technical, commercial and quality compliance outcomes.
• Establishing and implementation of systems to meet client/stakeholder contract requirements.
• Working with DTI management ensuring compliance with Asset Standards Authority requirements and ensuring we meet our obligations as a TAO (TfNSW).
• Preparing and maintaining an Audit program and carrying out and reporting audit findings in accordance with the Business and project audit program and ISO 9001 requirements.

About You

• Minimum of 10 years Quality Management exp in either a corporate leadership/management role or on a large scale construction project.
• Qualified to Bachelor of Engineering level.
• Understanding of business and project management principles.
• Understanding of ISO9001 Quality Management Principles.
• Understanding of Lead Auditor certification.
• Technical aptitude, good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage stakeholder expectations.
• Ability to lead and inspire teams.
• A strong ability to rapidly grasp the nuances of client needs in complex situations with competing demands.
• Ability to structure appropriate solutions to meet client needs and address problem areas.
• Ability to lead others to deliver an agreed outcome.
• Quality focused – accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Strategic thinker
• A strong bias for talent development of self and others.
