Description:
Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, this position will see you maintaining quality standards across production and to maintain and implement the ongoing development of the company's documented quality systems.
Responsibilities:
Ensure an uncompromising approach is taken to food safety by all employees
Actively contribute to the establishment and solidification of the quality culture whilst strictly adhering to both
organisational and regulatory standards
Actively contribute to Quality Assurance and GMP requirements
To be a ‘champion’ for maintaining and improving GMP and quality
Facilitate change to achieve continuous improvement in quality
Maintain, update, and develop relevant professional knowledge and skills to meet demands of the job
Coach, encourage, support and mentor other employees in their development and training
Maintain safe work environment by following standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations
Provide assurances that customer and regulatory standards are being met.
Experience and skills required:
• Tertiary education in Food Science or demonstrated relevant experience
• Minimum 4 years experience in food safety and quality management
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and attentjon to detail
• A systematic approach to recording and reporting data
• Experience with WSE standard is required
