Are you a passionate Sales Manager ready to take the next step in your career? You will be responsible for overall sales performance through motivating, developing, coaching, training, and managing a team of Business Development Managers.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Overall responsibility for building, managing and motivating an enthusiastic, customer-focused and target-driven sales team
- Responsible for holding BDMs accountable for their activity and movements on a weekly basis by ensuring they are meeting all company sales metrics and goals to ensure that individual targets are being met.
- Identify and research all potential opportunities and partnerships in order to access partner databases.
- Develop and execute our partnership strategy in collaboration with marketing and business development teams
- Provide and articulate regular market & competitor intelligence which gives insight into current channel performance and trends in order to assess effectiveness, ROI & profitability.
- Attend tradeshows and speak on behalf of company as needed. Attend seminars and industry conferences to build relationships, network, and secure new opportunities
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Experience in the travel industry essential
- Prior experience leading significant and successful high performing business development sales teams at a national level
- Proven expertise in communication, negotiation, and sales.
- Strong relationship building and negotiation skills
- Knowledge of market trends and competitive landscape
- Demonstrated leadership skills to motivate and coach staff
PACKAGE
- Salary up to $100k + super + bonuses + car allowance, phone, laptop
