An exciting opportunity is available to join a successful Australian business, Aldus, taking its innovative packaging solutions to the world. We have manufacturing plants in Australia, UK and USA, and offices or warehouses across Australia, New Zealand, USA, UK, Ireland, Scotland, France, Italy, Spain, and Poland. As a group, we provide a wide range of individual to complete packaged solutions to customers in the print, packaging print and labelling industry.
We are currently looking for a National After Sales Manager to manage our service, preventative maintenance program, spare parts and consumables for our installed base of printing, labelling and coding machines. This is a leadership role and requires a high amount of positive and consistent influence. This role will be responsible for uncovering new commercial opportunities, growing our existing accounts, and identifying ways for Aldus to improve customer satisfaction after the initial equipment Sales have been made. This role will be responsible for ensuring customer experience excellence for the installation, service and maintenance of our labelling, coding and graphics machines.
The immediate focus on this role will be increasing After Sales revenue while continuing to drive an excellent customer experience.
The main responsibilities will include:
- Establishing a strategy to maximise the After Sales business
- Looking for opportunities to optimise and improve our customer service and installation processes to minimise expenses and maximise customer experience.
- Establishing an effective strategy for implementing Preventative Maintenance Agreements.
- Creating clear and effective communication amongst the After Sales team.
- Working collaboratively with the National Sales team to create an inclusive environment across departments.
- Demonstrating effective leadership of the team ensuring all direct reports have clear KPI’s, position descriptions and development plans.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role in print or manufacturing industry and be able to demonstrate solid experience in technical knowledge, commercial acumen, people management and effective communication.
This role will require regular travel nationally to support the broader team. An attractive remuneration package, inclusive of company vehicle, will be negotiated with the successful candidate.
