About the role and you:
The role of National Sponsorship Manager will report to the CEO - Teams, and you will play an integral role in driving the commercial success of the SEN teams. Working across all existing 5 National Sports Teams, you will be responsible for the development & execution of the commercial strategies for each team; working collaboratively across the SEN Sales and Strategy Teams to help deliver the results.
The successful candidate will ideally have a sport sponsorship or sport / media sales background with a sharp commercial acumen and a capacity to move at pace.
The ideal candidate we are looking for will:
- Have proven experience delivering exceptional commercial growth within a sports landscape or team environment
- Possess a good understanding of the various sports revenue streams including sponsorship, corporate hospitality, game day events & experiences, digital & content creation
- Value and demonstrate a strong partnership mentality and excellent relationship management skills
- Have extensive networks across direct clients & media agencies
- Be capable of creating lateral ideas and solutions with strong product knowledge
- Understand brands, their key marketing challenges and the goals clients are aiming to achieve
- Be proactive in developing growth strategies for new clients
- Be highly energetic and have a passion for sport, the industry, and our content
- Have excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Have a strong work ethic and collaborative work approach
- Have good time management skills, be highly organised and results driven
