The team serves major clients and broker partners through an elevated, personalized experience – our client-centric framework drives a consistent experience and best practice, while allowing flexibility to meet the client’s needs.How you will create an impactThis is a critical role within our Australian business, with responsibility for leading a key National Strategic partnership and working with the General Manager for NSW/ACT in respect of partnering and execution of our regional distribution strategy. With dual reporting to the Head of Client and Broker Engagement Australia and the General Manager NSW/ACT, the successful candidate will have demonstrable ability in aligning and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. With a deep understanding of customer and the changing digital landscape within the Insurance Industry, the successful candidate will bring innovative and agile thinking to how we develop and execute strategy.Key accountabilities will include but not limited to:
- You will be responsible for management of specific national and regional key partnerships, developing strategic partnering as aligned to our growth aspiration.
- You will work in collaboration with the broader CBE team, Underwriting and Claims teams.
- You will work closely with the NSW/ACT GM and key stakeholders to drive local strategy and execution of key national initiatives.
- You will work closely with the broader CBE team to ensure consistency in addition to sharing best practise and innovation.
- You will bring a strong client lens
- You will be able to work with key business partners, operating within critical strategic frameworks and principals to ensure governance and profitability business success.
- Demonstrated insurance experience with tertiary education preferred however not essential
- Excellent communication skills
- Proven insurance business development background
- Commercial/SME market experience preferred however not essential
- Ability to manage within a matrix management structure
- Existing broker and client relationships preferred
- Demonstrable strategic planning, execution, and organisational partnering capability
