The Opportunity
Salary: $Excellent + Super + Bonus
Create and deliver Technical Training programs on a range of products and solutions for this top technology distributor. As National Technical Training Manager you will write training material for sales professionals and technical integration partners on the company’s full range of products, including audio visual technologies, control solutions (including KNX building automation solutions, lighting control solutions) aimed at both residential and commercial building and integration markets. This is a national role delivering training to partners around Australia, working with vendors around the world to keep your training material up to date with the latest product releases. You will work closely with the team leads of the technical support and brand management teams, as well as the national sales manager to plan and deliver national training programs to ensure up to date knowledge and best practice across the organization. You will liaise with marketing regarding training events for partners and ensure strong uptake. You will also configure and demonstrate products in the company’s demonstration facilities, including full boardroom and cinema room systems.
Skills Required
Strong knowledge of building automation and audio visual technologies is required to succeed in this role, in either residential or commercial markets, including KNX protocol, RTI control systems or similar products utilised by systems integrators. Must have a proven track record of delivering training, ideally both in-house and to external partners, on selling, supporting and deploying AV and control technology. Experience working with multiple departments to coordinate training programs across multiple teams would be highly beneficial. Must have excellent presentation skills and be comfortable demonstrating technology solutions to a range of people with differing levels of technical knowledge.
