Your Future at Council:
- Undertake a Trainee placement within the Natural Resources section of Council whilst completing a Certificate III in Conservation and Ecosystem Management
- Assist Council with the management of Natural Resources on Council Land
- Work amongst our community and be a positive public facing ambassador for Orange City Council
- Prioritise safety and ensure safe work practices for yourself, your colleagues and our community
What you will Do:
- Be a valuable member of the Natural Resources Team
- Be eligible to undertake a Certificate III in Conservation and Ecosystem Management, including the ability to attend block training sessions
- Forget about course fees! As a Trainee we will cover the course fees
- Provide assistance and support to the team, whilst developing skills and experience
- Assist with a variety of tasks including vegetation management, track installation and maintenance, fencing, erosion control, revegetation, stock maintenance, tree maintenance and weed control

- Weekly Salary Range: From $395.83 to $803.81 - Traineeship rates of pay are dependent on highest level of schooling completed & years out of school in accordance with Council's traineeship salary structure
- Hours of work: Full-time working 38 hours per week - Temporary 12-month Contract
