Yarra Valley Support coordination has a dedicated in house team to assist our Support Workers in their daily tasks and shifts.
Although our head office is nestled in the picturesque town of Healesville, we proudly extend our support services to clients across the entire Melbourne region!
Locations include:
- Boronia
- Caulfield
- Coldstream
- Dandenong
- Docklands
- Glen Iris
- Healesville
- Melton
- Seville
- Toorak
What We're looking for:
Personality
- Good with people, can make meaningful connections.
- Motivated, takes the lead, and thinks carefully.
- Trustworthy and caring.
- Great at talking and can help achieve goals.
- Available to work Monday - Friday (with some weekends and public holidays)
Skills and certificates
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (Or willing to complete one)
- Working With Children Check (Employee)
- National Police Check
- First Aid Certificate, including CPR
- Certificate III in Individual Support (highly desirable)
- Current Full Victorian Driver's Licence
- Basic Computer and Technology Knowledge (including mobile apps)
- Ability to pivot focus from one client to the next
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Responsibilities may include:
- Facilitate community access
- Domestic assistance
- Transportation to appointments/events
- Mandatory case noting for every shift
- Attend company training sessions
