Broad objective
Roseville College competes in the IGSSA competition. Sports Coaches play a significant role in developing and implementing training and coaching strategies that grow each individual and team in their skills and abilities, within the Roseville College sporting program. Sports Coaches work closely with their Sport Coordinator to ensure excellence, engagement and inclusion, where the wellbeing of each student is at the forefront. Coaching opportunities exist for the following sports to commence in term 3, 2024:
- Netball
- Hockey
- Touch Football
The successful applicants will be required to attend one training sessions during the week on either Tuesday - Friday 6.45 am -8 am and/or Monday - Thursday 3.30 pm – 5 pm. Attendance at games on Saturdays between 7.30 am-12 pm is also essential.
Qualifications, skills and experience
- Working with Childrens Check
- First Aid - desirable
- Level 1 Coaching Qualifications or sport specific equivalent
- In-depth knowledge of netball, hockey or Touch Football rules, techniques, and strategies
- Work collaboratively with all members of the Roseville College community
