Job description

About the role Do you have a background in drafting, or are you currently working in field operations and are looking to expand your career with a corporate role? In this role you'll be responsible for maintaining transmission, distribution and telecommunications network asset data, spatial, schematic, and electrical connectivity systems to business requirements.

You'll be exposed to monitoring of dashboards and quality reports, investigating anomalies and resolving and working as a member of the team to process daily incoming information from a variety of sources, creating tasks, and tracking job management of the asset data updates to ensure timely completion. To be successful in this role, you'll have prior experience with GIS/Spatial systems, ideally ESRI ArcGIS or similar, as well as an EAM system such as SAP. Experience in a related discipline such as asset management, electrical design, technical drafting or performing update of asset information within a utility or heavy industry environment is highly desirable. Possessing a high standard of quality and accurate work, the ability to use initiative and excellent organisation skills, coupled with the proven ability to work autonomously will set you up for success in this role.

Our preferred candidate will have an extensive drafting/civil drafting background or be working in field operations/an electrical contractor role and have - Knowledge of transmission and/or distribution electrical networks, spatial concepts and network topology Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to build and maintain working relationships with field crew, control systems, operations, asset management, projects, digital and customer teams What's on offer This is a fixed term, 6 month opportunity.
