AddressAustralian Citizens With NV2 Clearance previous defence experience preferred
This role will work within the SEA2273 Sub program of the Warfighting Networks and Applications Support Organisation (WSO), ICT Delivery Division, Chief Information Officer Group, Department of Defence.
The Network Technician will be required to perform and/or have responsibility for duties including, but not limited to:
Support the design, build, and deploy of complex network solutions.
Complete and review all associated network documentation.
Provide Network SME advice to the customer, and internal and external stakeholders to facilitate project definition, system architecture and process improvement.
Create Knowledge Articles on key processes, network devices and systems that can be used across the service desk and wider community of IT support staff.
Identify innovative service improvements that provide additional value to network solutions.
Work with peers in a highly collaborative and high-performing team environment.
Experience as a Network/Gateway engineer.
Demonstrated experience and knowledge in networking technologies including:
oRouting
oSwitching
oNext Gen Firewalls
oVoice Over IP
oEnterprise Wireless LAN infrastructure
oNetwork Segmentation
oFlow Control
Strong knowledge of Industry standard frameworks (e.g. TOGAF)
