About the company
Karlka Recruiting Group has partnered with a Global Mining Company to engage aNetwork Engineer. This position is located in their busy Brisbane CBD office for an initial contract until 16/12/2024 + extensions.
Duties
- Peer review project delivery documentation
- Develop and document migration and implementation plans
- Developing or reviewing designs (High and Detailed)
- Development of bill of materials and labour estimates for inclusion in project estimates
- Transition planning, cutover planning and change management
- Risk assessment and risk management for technical project elements
- Hardware installation and configuration
- Network equipment configuration, including firewalls
- Testing and commissioning
- Hand over to operations
Requirements/Skills
- Solid experience in delivering network infrastructure solutions within a project environment
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) - required
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) - desirable
- Cisco Certified Design Associate (CCDA) - desirable
- Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP) - highly regarded
- Cisco Certified Voice Professional (CCVP) - highly regarded
