Transways Logistics International is chasing a dynamic, enthusiastic and career driven individual to join our team in Sydney.
No direct Industry experience in International Freight Forwarding, Shipping or Customs Brokerage is needed, but a willingness to set goals, chase dreams and work hard is key to being selected for this role.
Previous experience in selling, cold calling and face to face meetings would set you apart from other applicants. And if you do have any experience in importing, exporting or logistics, share that with us as we would love to learn what exposure you have had.
Your focus will be on identifying, new and potential clients. Building a pipeline of leads and over time learning to quote and arrange bookings for clients. As you build your confidence, we will expose you to face to face meetings and look to set you up to hit the road and work independently in building your own portfolio of clients.
Working closely with the NSW State manager, you will be given training on the basics of the industry and terminology needed to navigate your way through phone conversation and later meetings.
The successful candidate must be highly self driven, present well and have a confidence about themselves that is engaging and not off-putting. Self discipline, time management and an outgoing personality are key attributes we are looking for.
This role is a full time office based role, which is located in Waterloo, close to Green Square Train station and other major stations in Waterloo, Redfurn.
Your salary will be negotiated on your experience , with commission offered as well, with reviews to include car allowance and higher base salary once you progress into a “Sales Executive Role” and all going to plan a Business Development / manager role" in years to come.
