ABOUT THE ROLE
This role will work within the Networks and Gateways team and will manage, plan, and deliver critical and very complex network engineering activities.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE YOU WILL BRING
- Bachelor of Engineering from an Australian institution, or a recognized qualification.
- 5+ years’ experience designing, implementing, and supporting technology solutions in large-scale, geographically dispersed, and security-hardened on-premise environments that operate in low bandwidth and disconnected states.
- Experience designing, implementing, and supporting Gateway solutions in enterprise environments using technologies such as Next Generation Firewalls, Secure Email Gateway, Secure Web Gateway, Web Application Firewalls, Software Defined Networking, and WAN Optimisation.
- Experience in designing, implementing, and supporting network segmentation/segregation and micro-segmented network solutions in heavily virtualised and complex ICT environments;
- Experience in designing, implementing, and supporting network solutions for private cloud or multi-tenant environments;
- Experience developing highly available/fault tolerant systems, networks and infrastructure in a connected, partially connected, degraded or often disconnected state;
- Ability to rapidly build, automate and deliver proof of concept systems to support analysis, testing, accreditation and development activities within a DevSecOps framework;
- Strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills with demonstrable experience of presentation and engagement with stakeholders, projects and business areas.
