Networks and Gateways Engineer

As a Networks and Gateways Engineer, you will be at the forefront of engineering excellence within the Governmental Department.Your responsibilities will include:Managing, planning, and delivering critical and highly complex engineering activities, guided by a broad direction.Exercising assigned engineering authorities and Technical Regulatory Authority delegations.Translating high-level goals into actionable plans, addressing issues and uncertainties, and making informed decisions.Applying engineering and management expertise to advance established principles, techniques, and methods in the professional environment.Collaborating effectively with internal and external stakeholders and influencing team efforts.Mentoring and motivating developing engineers, optimizing resource allocation, and achieving results.Evaluating technical packages, ensuring compliance with requirements and regulations, and implementing necessary actions.Prioritizing safety considerations in governmental materiel systems.Required Skills and Experience:Bachelor of Engineering from an Australian institution or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Washington Accord for Professional Engineer status.Ability to meet the requirements of Chartered Professional Engineer (Engineers Australia), Registered Professional Engineer (Professionals Australia), or Fellow/Member of Royal Institution of Naval Architects,…
