Network & Security Engineer

Your new company A Global IT Consultancy requires a Network & Security Engineer for a permanent opportunity commencing immediately, with preference for someone who is NV1 cleared. Your new role In this challenging and rewarding position, you will be responsible for:
Providing Tier 2 and Tier 3 support to clients.
Assisting in project implementations within the networking environment.
Performing build, upgrades and troubleshooting of network and network security devices.
Partnering with the Architecture team to implement solutions that meet all business and technical requirements.
Undertaking research and development duties.
Configuring and testing the deployed infrastructure to achieve client sign-off.
What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you will have:
Proven experience in triaging, managing and maintaining network and security infrastructure.
Excellent knowledge of network security procedures, best practices and implementation.
Strong experience with Cisco routing & switching and Palo Alto firewalls.
Experience with Cisco SD-WAN, Cisco ACI and F5 load balancer is preferred.
A tertiary education in Information Technology as well as Cisco, Palo Alto and/or F5 certifications are highly beneficial.
Proven experience working within a Consultancy or a Managed Service Provider is advantageous.
Australian Citizenship, with NV1 clearance preferred.
