Location: MelbourneRole Summary: Network Security Engineer responsible for securing infrastructure across Azure Cloud, Data Centre, and 1000+ Retail Mobility & Convenience Stores.Key Responsibilities: Implement and manage robust Network Security infrastructure, including Firewalls, Intrusion Prevention, VPNs, Access Management, Policies, Web and Application Security, Endpoint Security, and Cloud Security.Network Security Technologies Responsibilities:Conduct Network & Internet Traffic inspection using IPS/IDS capabilities and TLS.
Implement Endpoint Protection and Secure Web Gateways.
Ensure SD-WAN Security for Stores & Corporate requirements.
Manage Firewalling at Layer 4/7 and provide Threat protection.
Oversee Security Service Edge (SSE) operations, including Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA), Cloud Secure Web Gateway (SWG), Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB), and Firewall-as-a-service (FWaaS).Network Security: Collaborate with architecture teams to validate design and build scalable, resilient, and secure networking solutions.
Implementation and Deployment: Deploy Network Security infrastructure components across Retail Cloud and Edge computing environments.
Network Operations and Maintenance: Manage day-to-day operations and maintenance of Network Security infrastructure.
Security and Compliance: Ensure compliance and enforce appropriate security measures across the network infrastructure.
Vendor and Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with vendors to evaluate and select networking security products and services.
Technology Responsibilities: Drive all aspects of the Network Security technology stack, including Cloud Security/Networking, Security Service Edge, SD-WAN, Switching, Routing, WiFi, DNS, Firewalling, Telephony, and supporting management tools.
