We are currently seeking a Full Time Permanent staff member to join our team based at our offices in Sunshine.
The role
Reporting to the Infrastructure Team Leader, we are seeking an ICT Network and Security Engineer who can bring their skills and experience to:
- Monitor organisational network performance, and proactively identify and resolve network risks and vulnerabilities in accordance with agreed policies and procedures.
- Contribute to the planning and implementation of maintenance and installation work, including building and configuration of infrastructure components in virtualised environments.
- Produce outline system designs and specifications, and overall architectures, configuration databases and design documentation of networks and networking technology within the organisation.
- Obtain and act on vulnerable information and conduct security risk assessments, business impact analysis and accreditation on complex information systems.
To be considered you will have:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, or related technology/ICT/cyber security discipline.
- At least 2-3 years’ experience as a network engineer or suitable equivalent.
- Proven track record of successfully managing ICT infrastructure lifecycle, maximising availability, performance and adherence to SLAs.
- Suitable Information Security certifications, such as CISA, CISSP, CCSP, CCFP, CISM, ITSM.
- Local government experience is desirable.
