We are currently looking for an NV1 cleared Network Technician to join our team on a permanent basis. This role will have you contribute to simulation software/network technical support with complex engineering systems.

What will I be doing day to day?
- Provide simulation software/network technical support with complex engineering systems
- Manage the integration of components, systems and sub-systems including new acquisitions
- Establish and implement change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and successful changes to network infrastructure
- Provide systems administration support including service pack releases, patches, hot fixes and security configuration
- Provide Test and Evaluation support in preparation for ADF exercises
- Support maintenance of ICT Security accreditation in accordance with ISSM
- Build and sustain effective relationships with stakeholders and customers
- Support coaching, mentoring and advice to RAAF personnel and other system users
What sort of skills do I need?
- Qualifications in Networking, Computer Science, IT, Telecommunication or a related discipline
- Background as a Defence Network Technician or exposure to other Defence Communications Systems (Desirable)
- Experience in Project Management or associated fields desirable
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Australian Citizenship and an NV1 clearance as a minimum
