Primary Objective:
- Provide specialist neurology care to patients at Royal Darwin Hospital, encompassing both inpatient and ambulatory services.
- Deliver ambulatory care and neurology advice to regional hospitals and remote communities within the Top End of the Northern Territory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, treat, and manage a wide range of neurological conditions.
- Offer expert consultations and develop treatment plans for both inpatients and outpatients.
- Provide support and guidance to medical staff in regional hospitals and remote communities.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in the teaching and training of medical students, residents, and other healthcare professionals.
Qualifications:
- Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) or equivalent.
- Extensive experience in neurology, with a strong background in both inpatient and outpatient care.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a diverse cultural environment.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and education.

- To apply you must hold or be eligible for Registration with AHPRA. Or be trained in New Zealand and willing to come to Australia for 12 months or more.
- RACP Comparable doctors - interview date or Outcome
- NZ FRACP or SMO director experience welcome
- IMG with 10+ years experience
